our mission
The BRITE-EU project aims to strengthen research and innovation (R&I) capacity in Widening countries by fostering institutional reforms, enhancing employability, and promoting cross-sectoral collaboration.
The project focuses on Digital Health as a starting point to address pressing healthcare challenges and enable knowledge exchange between academia and industry.
By focusing on the needs of Widening countries – Portugal, Czechia, Serbia, Romania – and non-widening countries – Spain and Sweden – the project’s collaboration wil create an ideal environment for cross-learning and knowledge transfer, enhancing the skills and employability of researchers while strengthening R&I ecosystems on both sides.
